Horses have held a special place in my heart for as long as I can remember. They are not just magnificent creatures but also my sanctuary, my haven of peace. My journey with these majestic beings began when I discovered the world of horse riding as an adult. They became my solace in the midst of life’s chaos, my refuge where I could find solace and a profound connection with nature. Each time I step into the stables, the world outside fades away, my “flow” as I call it, and I am left alone with my thoughts, my emotions, and a feeling of transcendence. It’s in their gentle eyes, the rhythm of their hoofbeats, and the warmth of their breath that I have discovered a unique bond with them. It is where I clear my head, a place where words often fail to capture.
It is this profound connection with horses, even though I didn’t start riding until adulthood, that has inspired me to write this blog. Horses have been not just my loyal companions but also my muse, inspiring me to share the lessons they’ve taught me about patience, trust, and the art of listening. With each word I write, I hope to convey the beauty of the bond between humans and horses, and how they can serve as a source of solace, not just for me, but for anyone, as horses help clear my head from all of lifes noise that fill our heads and allows me to be able to more easily listen to the voice of God, where I gain my inspiration.
