Horse Camp:

What a blast at Horse Camp this summer!

Now registering for Cowboy and Cowgirl Horse Camp - June 9th through 12th, 9-1pm.

New camp agenda will include daily horseback riding, a breakfast over a campfire, making your own fishing pole and then fishing, more horseback riding, roping, trail ride, and a rodeo at the end of the week for your parents to see what you learned and some good healthy competition on horseback.

$250 per rider.  Long pants and boots required.  Bring your lunch and plenty to drink each day.  Yee haw!   $100 deposit to reserve your spot.  Limited spaces available.  Email us for a registration application.

Our program is unique from any other horse camp, as your child will learn much more at Angus Valley Stables.  Why?  In order to ensure close personal supervision and maximum riding instruction for your child, our class size is typically limited to 12 students.
                                                                                 SUMMER RIDING CAMPS -

A four day riding camp typically held beginning the second week of June through the end of July, conducted on specific dates.  Price of the day camp is $250.  Monday through Thursday from 9am - 1pm.

We offer a camp program where students learn the riding basics and horsemanship, as well as play games on horseback.

Our week is full of riding, activities, trail ride, horse show, farrier demonstration, and even painting the digestive system and skeleton on a live horse!

Camp also covers beginner or intermediate horsemanship, safe handling, grooming and tacking up.  This is a great way for beginners to feel comfortable around horses while discovering the joys of riding.

For riders at the intermediate level, there will be a focus on equitation.  On the last day of camp, there will be a fun horse show that will show everyone what we have learned in the camp week.

In addition, you receive riding instruction and hands-on experience learning day to day horse care.

Horse camp includes daily grooming, tacking, and riding skills.    The week is full of riding, trail ride, activities, horse show, farrier demonstration, and even painting the digestive system and skeleton on a live horse!

To understand the specific riding and horsemanship skills that are taught in camp, please refer to the "Lesson Program " button and view the Rider Level Classification Chart.
