Teaching beginner levels:

basics of western riding.

A sample of the basics that you will learn include:

Horse
handling safety.
·
Horsemanship basics including how to properly move a horse on the ground.
·
Proper
grooming, tacking and leading.
·
The
cue system. |

We
will also cover:
·
Basic
steering exercises at the walk, trot, lope (as appropriate) as well as whoa
and reverse.
·
How
the horse "thinks" in preparation for handling, and riding the horse safely. |

And based on your riding goals:
Trail
riding techniques for a safer trail ride including negotiating obstacles,
and trail etiquette. |
