Horse camp is held from 9 AM to 1PM during scheduled camp weeks.  The cost is $250 per rider.  $100 Deposit required to reserve your spot.  Camp size are by design kept small in order to ensure maximize your child's learning experience, as well as the individual attention and care to your child,  so spots are limited.   Email us for the latest dates.

Our horse camp is focused on horsemanship and horseback riding skills.  We will cover many aspects of horse ownership, including how to safely catch a horse in the herd, to grooming, tacking, horse etiquette, and riding instruction on the basics of horseback riding.  Your riding skills will improve with practice, as the week continues.

At the end of the week, we welcome your parents to see what you have learned during the session.  $250 per rider. Long pants and boots required.  Bring your lunch and plenty to drink each day.   Yee haw! 

Horse Camp

Our program is unique from any other horse camp, as your child will learn much more at Angus Valley Stables.  Why?  In order to ensure close personal supervision and maximum riding instruction for your child, our class size is limited to 12 students each session.  

Summer Riding Camps – A four day riding camp typically held beginning in June through July, conducted on specific dates.  Price of the camp is $250.  Camp is help Monday through Thursday, from 9am – 1pm.  Camp also covers beginner or intermediate horsemanship, safe handling, grooming and tacking up to start the day.  Fun horse activities include short trail rides and sometimes painting the digestive system and skeleton on a live horse! 

Camp Trail Ride

This is a great way for beginners to feel comfortable around horses while discovering the joys of riding. For riders at the intermediate level, there is a focus on equitation.   To understand the specific riding and horsemanship skills that are taught in camp, please refer to the "Rider Classification Chart" tab.  Our camps have gotten rave reviews, so come out and see what we have to offer.
