A Family Working Together

Since 1995, the Parrish Family has owned and resided on Angus Valley Farm.    From a Southern Alabama heritage, Geoffrey always dreamed of earning a living and raising his family on the farm.  The typical farmer's wife, Monika comes from South Georgia roots.

For us, it has been a dream come true as we have been blessed in many ways.  Geoffrey and Monika have been married for 20 years, and have three strong farmhands - (Beau is 16, Tyler is 12, and Daniel is 6 years old.)  Horses, angus cows and poultry have been a daily part of our lives on the farm for many, many years.
Geoffrey's love of horses began spending time on his Uncle Noah's farm in Cottonwood, Alabama as a youngster.  The childhood horse Shannon still holds a special place in his heart.  At the age of 14, he worked as a "Wrangler" at Camp Marantha where he had the opportunity to work with horses.

When we visit our Uncle Heinz in Wachtendonk, Germany, he always goes out of his way to make sure that the beautiful European horses housed at the local farms are the main items on the itinerary.

Our good friends Butch and Wendy are also an important part of the staff and have responsibility for managing the foaling process.

Best Friends...

Grandpa also resides at Angus Valley Farm and oversees the daily care of the horses.  Our family consists of hard working, down to earth folks that strive to provide a fun, safe, Christian environment for children and families to enjoy horses by offering the lesson program, horse boarding, riding, driving, and camp.

If there is ever anyway that we can be of assistance during your visit with us, please let us know.  Come kick up your heels and stay with us awhile.  Welcome to "The Getaway at The Stable in Bethlehem".
